Bookings
when a booking is made we ask for a valid debit or credit card number to secure the room or a deposit can be made by cheque or BACCS for one night’s stay. Cheques made payable to Judith A Blowey.
We accept payment by most major credit and debit cards (excluding American Express) and payment by cheque or cash.
Multiple Room Bookings
When paying by cheque we will require a deposit equal to the full booking fee for the first night’s booking from groups booking two or more rooms.
Cancellations
If you have to cancel your booking and do so less than 48 hours I will endeavour to let your room again, if this is not possible then the deposit will be forfeited. It is possible to take out insurance to cover any loss and this recommended.
Check-in and Departure Times
Check in is from 4pm to 10pm, unless otherwise arranged. On the day of departure all rooms should be vacated by 10.00 am. We ask if possible for you to phone or e-mail beforehand to give me an idea of an arrival time so that we are here to greet you. On arrival you will be asked to fill in a registration form
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted within the house.
Liability
Amenities at Higher Woodley are provided at the owners risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any injury, loss or damage either personal or to motor vehicles parked on the premises. Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times when on the premises or in the grounds.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care of our home you are responsible and liable for any breakages or damage which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. I do not normally charge for breakages but reserve the right to charge for repair or making good if the damage is significant. If you spill something please let me as soon as possible, it is much easier to clean if we can act quickly.
Allergies
If anyone has an allergy that is likely to be a problem please let us know. We are here to help.
Covid 19
If you experience Covid19 symptoms while you are here in the first instance we ask that you get tested and then you should immediately travel home. If this is not possible and you need to extend your stay you will be charged for the extra length of stay. Any other guests will be notified.
If we should fall ill we will refund monies already paid and ask you to return home to isolate immediately.
